This is an album I did for a good friend of mine in North Carolina. I had such fun doing this album and was so excited when she received it and loved it. I picked about half the pages to share here, otherwise the post would be huge LOL. Melinda's precious Abby Rose arrived July 31st and my book arrived Aug. 1st pretty good timing I think :)
Thanks for looking and blessings.

Pop bottle for my beautiful daughter's birthday

Ok im hoping my lovely daughter does not see this post before it arrives at her door :)
I decided to make her pop bottle and deocrate it with her favorite---sunflowers. I used walk in my garden for the flowers and the for you, also used doodletype for happy birthday.
I decided since everytime a box shows up at the house my granddaughter knows it is for her from Grandma florida :) So of course i couldnt only send goodies for my daughter. I made kylee her own pop bottle with her favorite--Ariel and flounder (which she says firsch for fish :) ) I used Dreams come true for her bottle, and alpha bubbles from sizzix for her name. Josh thought they were perfect for the water feel :)
I hope they both enjoy their goodies. I so enjoyed making these what fun and the curly's I thought were the perfect toppers.
Thanks for looking.

The second is a card that im not sure what Ill use it for :)
Both are just some chipboard, patterned paper and ink. Sometimes I like to just do simple and fast :)

Something special for my granddaughter

This is a lil something special I made for my sweet granddaughter for her 3rd birthday.
I miss living closer to her so much. I so enjoyed making this for her, the inspiration came from a project posted by cathy over on the cricut messageboard cathys post. Thanks for the inspiration cathy :)
I used the storybook font at 6",divine swirl cuttlebug folder, skittles, primas, inking, fibers, ribbon and wasau paper( I love how that cut on the cricut)
Shockingly no stickles, however that was partly due to me running out of time to get it in the box, since I wanted it in the mail today and I was afraid they would still be a little tacky feeling to pack. And partly that the majority vote (from me, hubby and ds) was to not add them lol.
Thanks for looking and I hope you visit soon.

Birthday Invites for my Granddaughter

My darling granddaughter is turning 3 and my daughter wanted some wubbzy invites. Well that required enlisting the help of my wonderful hubby to draw my a wubbzy. We then copied them and colored the images in. I added some inking sorry its hard to see in the image, stickles on the nose.
Of course I had to use my cricut :) and mickey font cart for the wording. Then some 1$ stamps for the info parts.
I was so happy to be able to do these for her, its so hard being so far away from them.
Hope you enjoy them and thanks for visiting.

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Well this is a layout of my son who is now 14 yeah I know Im a little behind lol. Im addicted to inking however on this one I loved it without so that is out of the box for me. My son actually helped with this one and he enjoyed looking at the pics---this is why I love to scrapbook to see them enjoy the pictures and layouts. He came up with the swirlies and baby boy design. Im going to attempt a close up picture later today. The sign in the pitcure was waiting for me and josh when we got home my sweet hubby made it for us. And the house was filled with balloons that is another layout :) Josh wants the sign in case someday he has a boy- I thought that was sweet.
Thanks for looking.

I recieved my life's a beach cart over a week ago and couldnt wait to play with it. I LOVE it, these snorkeling pics of my sons was a great way to start. My husband and youngest love to snorkel alot the older one does but not as much. I had to add the lobster since they seen one out in the water as they were out snorkeling. This layout was a combination of inputs from the whole family.I hope you enjoy and stop back soon.

The cricut cuts of the snorkelers i tried to customize to my sons hair and their swim trunks :)
My hubby helped with the trunks.:)

The last pic i tried to show the skittles and the depth of them, im learning so bare with me :)

Praying for Jonah

I found this prayers request via my friend Tammy's blog
and was touched to pass the prayer request on.Please lift this precious lil one up in prayer.

Tuesday, March 3, 2009

This one I couldn't wait to get home and make for my granddaughter. I have been eyeing the mickey border punch at michael's for awhile now. Well----it finally went on clearance and was able to use a coupon on top so it was too good a deal to pass up, it was a great bargain and 4.50 or so I think. Of course I used my cricut expression and my mickey font cartridge :) I love making cards for my granddaughter and I thought this would bring a smile to her face. I hope it does :)

This one was actually part of a kit that was found on clearance as well the whole kit was amere 1.99 and the kit makes 8 cards, I will be sharing more of them later. It was labeled baby but too me the cards are much more versatile then that. And of course I have to add some inking, stickles and who knows what other goodies.

Thanks for stopping by.
